Arnaldo Kulina e Raimundo Kulina explicaram que o kakade imeni, um tipo de abano grande, é chamado de ‘Warikoze phephe’, isto é, rabo de tatu. Ele também é confeccionado pelas mulheres, mas utilizado sobretudo pelos homens como técnica de caça ao tatu (tatu em língua kulina é warikoze). Abre-se o buraco do tatu, e se faz uma fogueira na beira do buraco. Então, com o ‘warikoze phephe’, o abano grande, abana-se a fumaça da fogueira para dentro do buraco, obrigando o tatu a sair.
